    Lisle is among other things, the voice of Nina Williams on the video game Tekken; the voice on your GPS (if you drive in Japan); the “Sexy Businesswoman” in Lost in Translation; a marketing/branding consultant; the producer of J-wave’s live telecast for the Michael Jackson “This is It” LA premier; an on-site reporter for the Academy Awards, the Grammys, and Emmys; an interpreter; and a researcher for NHK, TV Asahi, TBS and Nippon Television (among other things).  In other words, she’s busy.

    1.  What is your most memorable experience (or experiences) in Japan?

    Having lived there for about 35 years altogether, I really don’t even know what would be my MOST memorable experience….there are just so many of them…but I guess my times at ASIJ (4th – 7th grade) and Christian Academy in Japan (9th – 12th grade) are very memorable.  And there are a few pretty awesome experiences I have had over the years through work as well.

    2.  How has being a gaijin influenced who you are today?

    Oh my gosh….it is SUCH  huge part of who I am.  I think I am in a bit of a unique situation because I was a gaijin for about 35 years and just recently came to the U.S&
