Quick Stats
While a bar examinee is “deemed to have passed his examinations successfully if he has obtained a general average of 75%”, the Supreme Court en banc has always retained for itself (based on its authority to promulgate rules concerning the admission to the practice of law) the discretion to make adjustments, as it did in the previous years by lowering the passing grade to 70%.
In 2013 and 2014, the Supreme Court also lowered the passing grade to 73% in light of the difficulty the candidates encountered with the multiple choice question (MCQ) portion of the exam.
The list of successful bar examinees will be displayed at the Supreme Court front yard and simultaneously be viewed on this page.
Bar passers may secure their clearances from the Office of the Bar Confidant from May 8 to 21, 2017, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oath taking for successful examinees is on May 22, 2016, 3:00 p.m., Mall of Asia Arena; registration starts at 11 a.m.
