You will recall that the Ohio Light Opera presented Lerner & Loewe’s Brigadoon as part of their summer season. Invited to give a lecture at their annual symposium was Richard C. Norton, biographer of Frederick Loewe. Mr. Norton has kindly allowed us the reprint his lecture here, for all those who didn’t make it to Wooster this year – and who love this romantic Scottish operetta.
